Using Box

For most DRNS projects we use the University of Stirling’s Box system to share information with project group members.  This system works like DropBox and other online file sharing facilities.  Box allows us to share action notes from group meetings, bids under development, supporting literature, and documents required for specific packages of work.  Some organisations, e.g. NHS and the Scottish Prison Service, block access to file-sharing sites from within their networks; if this affects you, you should be able to access Box at home.

There are Box apps available for Android devices and iPhone/iPad.

If you are not a University of Stirling student or member of staff, you will need to create a free Box account in order to access the system.  We have created this three-step guide to show you how.

Step 1: Visit stir.account.box.com/login and click the “Sign up” button
