Public involvement

The DRNS aims to meaningfully involve people with lived / living experience of drug use and affected family members in our work.  We have developed a policy that is informed by examples of best practice, including the National Institute for Healthcare Research’s National Standards for Public Involvement.

The current version of our involvement policy is here:  Involving people with experience of drug use and their families in the DRNS v1.0

Please contact us if you have any comments on the policy or if you have experience of problem drug use would like to get involved in drugs research.
