Drug-Related Death research mapping

drug-related death research mapping imageIn September 2019 DRNS conducted a mapping of research relating to drug-related deaths (DRD) in Scotland.  DRNS members and newsletter subscribers were asked to submit details of relevant research and PhDs. The report below summarises the information we received.

Our aim is to share information on DRD-related work to reduce duplication of effort, highlight emerging sources of evidence and expertise, and inform a gap-analysis to identify priorities for further work.

During the first half of 2020 DRNS will undertake a wider mapping of Scottish drugs research that will include DRD-related activities.  We will share results with the Scottish Government, the Drug Deaths Taskforce and with colleagues through the network.

To have your work included in the next iteration of this report, please email admin@drns.ac.uk providing your name, project title, project lead, dates, a brief (<100 word) summary and links to any publications.
